Annalisa Zanni, director of the Museo Poldi Pezzoli in Milan, presents a special object
from Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli’s Murano glass collection. Alongside the numerous glasses,
the museum display cabinet houses a lamp in the shape of a bird. Thanks to the skill and creativity of the glassmakers,
Murano glassware was produced in a wide range of elaborate designs.
